Cost is the price of a panel and a few zip ties. This was one of my first attempts at a hanging feeder. The size of the feeder is suitable for small pens or birthing goat stalls being enough for 1 2 goats. If your barn layout is different you may have to modify this build to where it ll function on a solid wall.

Goats sheep and other small livestock often require special consideration when it comes to hay feeders. You need at least one commercial box feeder for every four goats. Special hayracks and bunk feeders designed for such creatures are often hard to find and very expensive. Very durable and sturdy.

Works best in larger areas since it does take up some room. Cattle rings and standard bunk feeders are too large and cumbersome to be practical for the small livestock farmer. This is a great goat hay feeder for a large herd of animals and can be used inside or out. Often one or two goats drive others away from a feeding area so you may want to make hay available in at least two locations in each goat area.
